Resources
This page is continuously updated with the resources you need to prepare to become a chaplain and to minister effectively in a military, hospital, or corporate environment.
mPact Churches
mPact is a mentoring movement united to plant, assess, coach and train leaders for maximum impact. Our goal is to develop “impact churches”. mPact churches recognize that the primary calling on the church, no matter its model or configuration, is to equip the members of the body to change the world.
Manna University
Manna University offers exceptional training in ministry for a little over half the cost per graduate credit hour of comparable seminaries.
International Fellowship of Chaplains
Interested in other types of chaplaincy such as Police, Fire, Hospice, Nursing Home, Disaster Relief, School, Prison, or Corporate? The IFOC provides training and credentials to serve in a wide variety of areas in the civilian community. IFOC is a partner ministry not affiliated with mPact.

Internships For Chaplains Leaving Active Duty
The Department of Defense Skillbridge Program helps active duty members transition to civilian careers https://skillbridge.osd.mil/. Chaplains can take advantage of an internship with a church or a parachurch ministry during their last 4-6 months on active duty while still receiving full pay and benefits. The packet requires command approval and paperwork varies slightly by service, and each installation has a separate Skillbridge or Career Skills Program office. Contact the mPact Endorser for further information.
